The Teletransport Smurf is a rather obscure CD-i game where you have to save Smurfette from Gargamel (again) with the most condescending version of Papa Smurf ever known guiding you along the way. The french version was actually released in 1995. However, the dutch version remains to be prototype exclusive, as far as we know. It's a mix of platforming and minigames. But you have to understand the dutch or french language to understand. How strange are those product numbers: "SCHTRFR4021", "SCHTRFR4041" and "SCHTRFR4011"! a different one for each of the manual, disc and back cover. I played it, it's very nice. if you choose the plaform mode I think up to 4 different people can play but not at the same time. you have to choose minigames and the first player to finish 10 wins. I haven't completed it yet though some mini games need an understanding of French. An english version with the subtitle "The Teletransportsmurf" was also in the works, but in the end it was never released on CD-i.
It also features an intro partially reused from The Smurfs (Sega CD), only this time with voices. A rare port of the Genesis game, now with extra videos! Some of the cinematics shown would later be reused in The Teletransport Smurf.
The Smurfs: The Teletransportsmurf remained unreleased on CD-i. However, the french local version with the name Les Schtroumpfs: Le Teleportaschtroumpf actually was released in 1995 on CD-i, exclusively in France.
