Exclusive CD-i store units put CD-i to our attention and reminded us that with CD-i we could explore the world without any boundaries

While I can't recall this specific kiosk setup for CD-i it certainly shows the diversity of retail store units that Philips offered. Of course there's a possibility this is hand-made by a third party, but in the case of CD-i that sounds new to me. It is a dutch unit saying at the top: Explore the world without boundaries with Philips CD-i, in the same letters as the english demo set with :You can do it all on CD-i. CD-i member Jaap Jansen brought this to our attention. Another CD-i classic, even in 2020 there's lots to discover about CD-i.

The unit leaves not much to your imagination how it was used. With a big CRT screen on top and a desktop-sized CD-i player on the shelf below, leaving enough space in front of it to place either a CD-i trackball or a roller-controller. I wonder if these types were used in the Evoluon, but in my memory they used the blue kiosk systems that we explored here on Interactive Dreams.

[Thanks, Jaap Jansen]
