Thanks to the Home Computer Museum in Helmond, The Netherlands, we have a great location to celebrate the 30th anniversary of CD-i, as well as the opening of the largest CD-i collection in the world, thanks to a great collaboration of collectors and donators, not in the least the unique collection of Jorg Kennis (The New International CD-i Association). Bart, owner of the museum: "Philips
CD-i essentially invented the word interactive and showed the potential
of information and gaming using film, animations, audio and text on
your television using a small disk. The
HomeComputerMuseum is proud to have the largest collection of CD-i
software (made available by The New International CD-i Association /
Jorg Kennis) which will be officially opened. Also the founder of CODIM, Dutch first CD-i studio, will tell his story about CD-i and more special guests will be added.

An earlier date of our CD-i Community Day did not succeed due to the Corona virus, so we hope this gathering will be a new date to what will be a CD-i Community gathering, celebrating and looking back at the years of CD-i.
CD-i was officially introduced October 15, 1991 in USA
