This early cover of Creature Shock was done in 1995 and it is an official cover by Philips Media. Back then it was expected that Creature Shock was going to be released in 1995 on CD-i. Creature Shock had been in development for CD-i since 1994 and it took three years for Argonaut to complete the game (it was released in 1997). It was close or the CD-i release never happened. This early cover shows some differences from the existing retail version, it still has the original Virgin logo as was present on other Virgin licensed CD-i titles like The 7th Guest. Also Philips printed 'compact disc interactive' on it while it was definitely not a base case CD-i title. The end product looks more colourful but this picture might not do justice to that.
