Only a few weeks back CD-i member Dopply created remastered versions for PC of the CD-i games Link: Faces of Evil and Zelda: Wand of Gamelon. It received a lot of positive attention online. Now CD-i member Naean Howlett-Foster took the next step and remastered the soundtracks of these games as well. Via this link you can download the mp3 files. The tracks sound much more sharp and clear, it is a definite improvement! Especially the Kortinka tracks are very nice. Naean: "I've been secretly working on 2 soundtrack remasters. Inspired by the great work of Master Emerald and Bouncy_Glow. I'm happy to say that's now complete, and reveal that these are the O.S.T.s of Link: The Faces Of Evil and Zelda: The Wand Of Gamelon for Philips CD-i."
Naean continues: "I should note I didn't technically remake the soundtracks, rather I took the existing tracks and applied some VEGAS Pro audio effects to them. Custom looping was the hardest aspect of these remasters. Entire thing took circa 1 year to complete. I'm also considering tackling the Tetris CD-i game's music for remastering, and I'll keep in mind your interest in remastered Hotel Mario music too. Not making any promises here, but I'll see how things go! :-) - I'm going to make a Questions & Answers text file for my music remasters, as a supplement to my existing files on MediaFire, for those curious about more info' regarding this work.
I'll see if I can get that typed out and uploaded before the end of 2020, but no promises. "
And what is in for next steps? CD-i member Dopply, the creator of the remastered versions of the games themselves, teases: "As far as an option to change out music/voice files, stay tuned. My community is cooking something up. ; ) "

[Thanks, Naean Howlett-Foster. Of course the original music was composed in 1993 by Tony Trippi and produced by William Havlicek]
