During the heydays of CD-i it was a popular thing to bring an interactive version of any television show, including Thunder in Paradise, but als Quiz shows like Third Degree and Jeopardy. Also in The Netherlands CD-i developers created exclsuive interactive versions of dutch television shows, like Lingo, but also this one: "De Nationale Spellingswedstrijd", starring Ivo Niehe, a widely known presenter in The Netherlands. This game was following the television show precisely, offering people to play word games against each other, spelling words correctly following the dutch grammar rules. Interesting detail is that this one was developed by DIMA, the same team who developed Family Games 1 and 2, and also Christmas Crisis on CD-i. After that, the guys behind DIMA started Creative Media, producing many other CD-i games like Christmas Country and Whack a Bubble.
Another dutch exclusive interactive television show is Lingo, starring the same presenter at that time: François Boulangé. This title was produced be the other popular CD-i developer in The Netherlands: SPC Vision, who we know of great CD-i titles like The Apprentice and Lucky Luke.
