CD-i member Isaac from Twitter reports a problem with MAME CD-i Emulator. "I'm trying to run Hotel Mario but the command prompt keeps coming up with this error (picture above). This picture shows the error that comes up and the files I have in my drive." What could be the issue? First some things to check: Are the other games spelled the same way? Are they in the same directory? What is the source of the game files? What version of Mame are you using? The latest version seems to be less compatible > Have you tried an older version? In this particular case, it seems again that the most recent version of MAME has lost some sompatibility with CD-i. That's a shame, apparently older versions (v.0.217) have better compatibility with CD-i compared to the latest version (currently at v0.222). So if you want the best CD-i compatibility via MAME for now, stick with a previous version of mame (30th may 2019 v0.210).
