We're very excited about this unique and exclusive CD-i material from Japan! CD-i in Japan was hidden for many years, no-one could ever share something about it! It seems thanks to you more and more info is popping up, really amazing and valuable for the CD-i community! This time our CD-i member Gluon Van contributed new scans of the Japanese CD-i book "CD-i in Business", showing information about the possibilities but also some pictures about rare Japanese kiosk systems, or 'point of information' as how they are sometimes called. The other pics are from Japanese CD-i applications, probably all professional. It shows there is still a lot to discover in what CD-i actually did in Japan!
CD-i member Gluon Van: "This title is "CD-i Business introduction". This book was written by "CD-i Consortium Japan"(unite of Philips Japan, Sony, Matsushita). Oh, it's...many many rare information! These sample is a few of all, but too surprised! Sample1: Japanese idol's album, CD-i & CD-G Bridge disc's prototype. Sample2: Screenshot of "Touch, talk plants picture book", this was exhibited on Expo '92. Sample3: Guide to business use for CD-i. This screenshot is "Suntory, Wine of world selection". Sample4: Japanese CD-i kiosk sample. This name is "Shopping Robo". This may use for department information."
