The Lost Ride on CD-i is a rare game that was published in 1998 by Lost Boys Interactive (Formula) and SoftMachine. There are a few movies available on Youtube and a few sites have the same screenshots over and over again. Online media often show the Mines World in The Lost Ride on CD-i. Why? Probably because the Mines World is the first world and it's already difficult to get through this maze.

It's a pity because I think that the second and third world in The Lost Ride are also amazingly crafted. The Lost Ride on CD-i offers three worlds: The Mines World, which is not shown here because everywhere you Google Lost Ride CD-i you will be shown the Mines World. The second world is the water world, the third one is the future world.

Between each world there is a special roller coaster movie that brings you from the former world to the new world. This is generally one big MPEG movie goling through different places which make for a pleasant alternative ride.

Even in the encoding process sometimes it went wrong, as in the future world there are a few scenes that are a bit blocky, like here when the railroad is splitted in two ways:

After you have completed the Future World, you will have a large sequence through the city, which is actually one movie and not built up out of short sequences. If you manage to go through it without being killed, you've completed the game!
