CD-i member Orlando Arroyo has shared many high quality articles with us, the CD-i Community. Let's have a look at this 1992 review of the CD-i, a very nice article how the world looked at CD-i in 1992. This was the magazine "Video Review" that was active in USA in the eighties and gave full exposure to CD-i. CD-i was still presented as "The Imagination Machine", and CD-i was focused at bringing us "Fun & Learning", keeping their edutainment spirit high. Especially the final picture is interesting for us with the "Coming Soon" section. They tell us that Philips is currently developing simplified CD-i authoring systems so that in the near future virtually anyone can become a CD-i developer. I wonder what they mean with this, perhaps this the announcement of the CD-i 605 player? The CD-i authoring player that was available in 1992 was the CD-i 180 set. I think this was an expensive set to buy for anyone who wanted to develop on CD-i. Next they announce the interactive TV show "Hot Seat" on CD-i, something I'm not sure what this is about. Did this change along the way in a different theme, or do we see another lost CD-i unreleased project here?

[Many thanks to CD-i member Orlando Arroyo for sharing this with us]
