The first stand-alone professional CD-i player was the CD-i 601, available as 602 including a floppy drive

Online probably worth a couple of hundred dollars, professional CD-i players are pretty rare.
The CD-i 602 was identical to the CD-i 601, but equiped with a floppy disk drive for additional storage capabilities. The system could not be extended with a Digital Video cartridge. It was not a development CD-i player, nor a authoring CD-i player. It was used for professional applications, like for business presentations, trainings, classrooms, education, those kind of things. In my opinion these professional CD-i players have an excellent build quality. The CD-i 602 was developed before and released in 1991, so there was no Digital Video Cartridge slot inside (that was released in 1993). When digital video was introduced after 2 years, this player lost its function as Philips released its follow-up, that did support digital video: The CD-i 604 (with a CD caddy) and CD-i 605 (Keep in mind there was also a 605 version with no upgrade to DVC).
