Daedalus Productions was in the ninetees a subsidiary of Lost Boys Interactive. I remember the studio for making a few Monty Python titles on CD-i, like Invasion from the Planet Skyron. Daedalus had quite some CD-i experience inhouse thanks to their parent company Lost Boys. And while this Monty Python title also holds the name: "And now for something completely different" - this was generally the credo of the studio, to do it differently and find innovative solutions in 'Interactive Entertainment'. In one of their friday afternoon experiments they came up with a small trick to transform your TV in a aquarium, with all types of fishes. A disc where you can choose between various tanks, cold water of tropical water, a loop in the software so you can watch the fishes over
and over again. Somehow they managed to get it published in 1997, the final outing by Daedalus for CD-i. With this disc, you can transform yout TV into a fish tank! Fish TV means 'Fish Tank Video'.
This CD-i title is also compatible with any Video-CD player (or DVD player).
From the disc:
Have you ever thought of covering your TV set when it’s off? No need to do that anymore because now there are Living Screens® witch turn your TV into kinds of fun and interesting displays like in this case, Fishtanks, here are five different but equally breathtaking aquariums from the old and famous Amsterdam “ARTIS” zoo.
