Tucson, Arizona... Riedel Software Productions, Inc. (RSP), an award winning software development company of video games, announced today the signing of an agreement with Philips Interactive Media of America (PIMA).
RSP will design and develop a new video game based on the original Nintendo characters from the arcade hit DONKEY KONG for Philips' new CD-i player, the Imagination Machine. Compact Disc-Interactive (CD-i) is the newest innovation in home consumer electronics. CD-i players connect to your TV and stereo, offering a combination of audio, video, text and computer animation.
According to Stephen Radosh, Vice President of PIMA, "Developing DONKEY KONG for CD-i will be a real challenge requiring the expertise of true videogame developers. RSP was especially chosen for this project because of their creative and technical ability, and their experience in delivering other classic characters to videogames.
