A bit of statistics about Interactive Dreams (2019)

I recently discovered we have passed an average visitor count per day of 900 and it's still rising, so I predict we will reach 1000 visitors per day pretty soon! I think that's really amazing and it shows there's more interest in CD-i than we imagined I would say. I wanted to share a few statistics on the site, it gives away more details about who the CD-i community actually is.

Most of you arrive here via Google (67%), but Facebook has been increasing from 0 when we started in April with it to 17% of all visitors right now, and it's still rising. Also interesting is that 6% of you arrive here via duckduckgo.com and the rest is divided over Bing and other sites like Black Moon.

The main keywords you use in Google before you arrive here are "cdiblogspot" (that's so nice) but also 'battery cdi' or something with timekeeper, as well as "cdi tray stuck", "cdi emulator" and mostly hardware related issues. You arrive right in the repair articles/tutorials, so Google does a great job of indexing our blog. Popular game titles in Google are "Escape from Cybercity", "Zelda's adventure" and "Hotel Mario" (probably as expected)

By far the most of you are from USA (64% of all), followed by Australia (11%), The Netherlands (6%), Russia (3%) and Japan (4%). The rest is divided over people mostly in Europe (France, UK, Germany, Italy and more)

42% of you use a Macintosh, 17% use Linux, 16% is on Windows, another 15% is on iPhone and 7% is on Android (The rest includes all other sources). That means at least over 20% of all visitors use a mobile device and enjoy the mobile version of Interactive Dreams.

Looking at specific posts, there are some old topics that attract a lot of visitors, like the repair guide, the Apprentice cheats and all articles that are in the label 'The Making of", but it most surprises me that this post about Alice reaches the top: When there's a girl in you all click on it :)

That's it for now, let's enjoy the rest of the articles ;)
