In one of the folders that is in the enormous CD-i collection of Jorg Kennis, we found a reference to a professional CD-i player that was branded as Magnavox (instead of Philips). It is named CD-i 601 and in this mockup picture some remarkable details are shows, like a red barred CD-i logo and worse: a spelling error in the line 'Compact Disc Interactives'. We're pretty sure this is some kind of photoshop edit, although it is an original one and it probably had some kind of purpose to propose this player to the market, which never happened.
Jorg: "I don't think that this red CD-i logo was really on the CD-i 601 player, this must be a photoshop edit. That spelling error 'interactives' does not look good either. I cannot remember these pictures, but this player does not exist. If that Magnavox version would exist it was not named CD-i 601."
[Thanks, Jorg Kennis]
