Most of us write about CD-i purely for a hobby, because we are fascinated about the format, had the system our own in our youth, feeling nostalgic. We try to keep it alive. I love it to meet more people with the same idea in mind and love to share stories and pictures of it. For me, it is especially about CD-i because well, it was part of my youth and we have a history with the Philips brand. Anyway, I recently met Bart Dekker, who is writing CD-i articles (among other subjects) about his own collection at this website, Retrogamer, at Nova Hollandia. You can find a longread about the Philips-Sony-Nintendo deal (always an interesting subject), about the CD-i 205, a top 10 of CD-i games, the hifi audio/CD-i hybrid system and more to come, like a review of his newly acquired CD-i 180 system.
