Several CD-i members are looking for extraction tools to get out graphics and audio from CD-i titles. For example, CD-i member Dopply asks: "I would love to get ahold of whatever tools https://www.shikotei.com/ uses to extract data. It would be immensely helpful in building future CD-i remasters/remakes. Not that that's my focus at the moment." - CD-i member thinks the same way: "I would also add this. I use it for CD-i audio extraction" - The Zelda CD-i Community is looking to rip the graphics of the disc to create their own Youtube movies with it; soundtrack enthusiasts want the Tetris CD-i soundtrack in the highest quality. What kind of possibilities are there online? CD-i member Retrostuff collected, together with the help of the community, a list of CD-i extraction tools. Retrostuff: "Data extraction is only possible with very experimental tools. Trial-and-error all the way:"
