For almost 20 years, we've been doing our best to keep CD-i alive, creating a CD-i Community for all of us. Read that again: 20 years. We've seen various ways how to communicate with each other and only since a couple of years we've been actively growing on social media channels. Since 2021, we started, together with CD-i member Erik, a Discord CD-i server and thanks to CD-i member Dopply it has even included The World of CD-i to participate. That's unique, because they have always been protective and kind of a closed community (for example, our team is not welcome there). At Interactive Dreams, we aim to share everything in high quality and without any watermarks. We love the art, the culture, the platform, the history. We want everything CD-i related here, no exceptions. And with attention to detail and credits to all of us who contribute. We're proud Interactive Dreams is currently the biggest source of CD-i related material, without a doubt. Many CD-i developers have joint in the past.
Of course, with many people joining, there are always people who will be friends, and there will be people who do not like each other (for whatever reason). That's why a forum, channel, group or website offers moderation. To keep the bugs out.
To ensure a high level of respect, interest, peace and to create a safe and nice place for everyone to be, and due to some demand, we've created
our own Discord server, following the structure of the CDinteractive Forums, the mother of The Black Moon Project: CDInteractive. Many of us love it, we feel the need to preserve it. Discord is a great place to experiment with it. Thanks to Erik Jacob and Dopply, we have the experience to set this up.
That means the current Discord CD-i server lost its soul, and we're ready to create a fully dedicated, open CD-i server. We want the CD-i Community to be a unified place, with all of us there. It works on Facebook, it works on Twitter, it works on our blog, we want to make it work on Discord too.
