CD-i member Paul Frederickson shared some unique video material of the exhibition booth of Philips at the 1992 Summer CES in Chicago, USA. We've seen some Dutch exhibition pictures before but these seem to be very rare and we like these very much to see how Philips was showcasing CD-i during the CES in 1992. They were showing full motion video for the first time, aanouncing the Digital Video Cartridge. And Philips was not only promoting CD-i, but also DCC and the first High Definition TV. Paul: "Philips 92 Chicago CES exhibit I had created to feature the Philips brand in the US on the show floor for the first time. The exhibit was a showcase for the Brand and full AV product line as well as Philips new digital technologies: CD-Interactive, Digital Compact Cassette (DCC) and digital HDTV. Todd Rundgren developed an exciting interactive title which he demonstrated at our booth."

[Thanks, Paul Frederickson, vvs]
