The beauty of classic CD-i catalogues is that they give away upcoming CD-i releases that never happened. Thanks to contributions by Videogame Obsession a couple of unknown CD-i titles popped up. We've hinted at upcoming CD-i releases of Go in USA and The Netherlands as well as the promising ICOM adventures Shadowgate and Uninvited, but in the Games section of the catalogue that came with USA longbox releaaes, they also promised us 'Gender Gap', which we never found out about. Gender Gap was never released on CD-i and there was never any picture of it released. It was just mentioned in the 'upcoming releases' list in this USA catalogue. "It’s the eternal battle of the sexes, fought not in the bathroom or the bedroom, but right in your livin groom! Pit male against female and what results it… fun!" was written with it. There were more CD-i titles announced:
- Audubon’s Backyard Birding: "Extensive, region-specific information from the wildlife experts about birds species found in North America."
- Gardening by Choice – Fruits & Vegetables: "Everything you need to know about planning and maintaining an edible garden. Zip-code specific tips!"
- Grolier Encyclopedia: "The popular encyclopedia is made all the more interesting and useful with the addition of photos, soundbites, speeches, illustrations and more!"
- Healthy for Life – The Interactive Diet: " Create a nutritional plan to accomplish your weight goals and tailored age to your health, age, height and other factors. Sixty informative audio-visual essays!"
- Library of the Future: "
