Last Monday we showed you the Grundig CD-i 100V, which was an OEM version of the CD-i 220 player by Philips. Grundig, in itself at that time part of Philips, also released a OEM version of the Philips CD-i 470 player: The Grundig CD-i 110E player. It is exactly the same unit as the CD-i 470, but now it has a Grundig label on it. Grundig was, in the Nineties, a popular brand in Germany and just as why Philips promoted  their Magnavox brand in USA more (as it was more popular compared to the Philips brand), they promoted Grundig CD-i a bit better in Germany. For the same reason, in France Philips pushed the SBR CD-i player (SBR was also part of Philips at that time).
