European computer store 'Vobis' sold its own OEM version of the CD-i 450/83 player by Philips, which you can see here. As with their other own branded computers, this CD-i player was branded 'Highscreen'. In the world of PC, this B-brand was able to keep the prices lower, perhaps this was also the reason to put this Highscreen CD-i player on the market. I'm not sure about the retail prices and its differences, however. It appears to be the exact same CD-i player as how Philips released its CD-i 450 player in 1994, and even in the software there is no specific Highscreen branding available. .
We showed a previous Highscreen CD-i player before which had the DVC identification badge, which is absent on this version. So either it has been removed or Vobis sold both a version with and a version without DVC inside.
I didn't notice before the detail of the Highscreen brand on the left side, while on the Philips version there is just printed 'CD-i 450', Vobis printed the name Highscreen on the same place. The part below with 'CD-Interactive player' seems to be in the same size and font as the Philips CD-i 450.
