Next to Philips/Polygram, there were quite a few third party companies who released video CD's on the market. The best overview on what was available from these publishers can be found in this Video CD Overview website, maintained by Sven. In the masterlist section we see various lists of specific releases and CD-i member Motley shows us a list by Vision, which has a few interesting discs in its catalogue. Motley: "This is the complete listing for Vision's Video CD releases in the United States. They received licenses from Orion, ESPN, and some public domain entities to put out VCD's in North America from 1995-1996. Other than Philips, Vision was the largest distributor of of Video CD's in the states. All catalog numbers officially have 00 in front of the three digit number (e.g., 00203 F/X Murder By Illusion). "The ones licensed by Orion (8 of them) were bundled with a MPEG upgrade kit for PC to promote Video CD on your computer. Vision also released several interactive PC/MAC titles, some of which contained MPEG-1 Video. The package included a 3,5" floppy to install the drivers, a MPEG card to insert in your PC and a cable to connect the video output. Of course these Video CD's were all compatible to play on your CD-i player with Digital Video cartridge installed.
