The nice thing of demo cd's is that it is some sort of time-capsule. Philips sent out these demo discs in 1988 to developers to showcase the possibilities of CD-i. As it was 1988, CD-i was not yet released and the digital video standard was not reasy yet. But it is a huge difference in what CD-i was eventually possible to do and how Philips looked at the CD-i world in 1988. Moreover, I think this is actually the oldest CD-i disc that I've ever come across. 1988! It look 4 years before we had CD-i in Europe anyway, and four years is a long way to develop promising CD-i software!
