In 1995, the news was posted that French developer Microids was developing a few CD-i games on CD-i. They announced Secret Mission, Evidence and Fort Boyard. In the end, only Secret Mission saw the light of day. It is an excellent adventure and in its genre quite unique in what CD-i has to offer. The project started in 1994 and developer Microids was exploring the possibilities. In an early edition of Micro Kids (A French magazine aimed at children who loved computers) there was an interview printed with the developer of Secret Mission. In this interview an early screen is posted of the first Hotel room in which character Jeff wakes up in. Looking at the details shows that this initial hotel room is different from the version which is used in the retail product. Darius (MrData): "a former French program on the "micro kids" video game, with an interview with a developer of "secret mission" on Philips CD-i, we can see that in the hotel room it was not the final version"
