All the CD-i jewelcase releases have an instruction booklet in some form. It depends on the title as some simple games don't require a heavy manual, but at least they all show how to use the buttons on a CD-i player. It seems, however, not so clear what kind of instructions were included with the original USA longbox releases. CD-i member Hyp3rblue: "Do all CD-i titles come with some form of printed instructions? I've noticed a lot of "interactive media" games in tall box don't (guessing because the gameplay is pretty intuitive).I bought a few brand new games recently (story of Samson, rock guitar, Moses the exodus). I've seen a few different manuals that you described (1 sheet vs. Booklet)." What's a game without an enclosed instruction book? I'm not 100% sure, but especially early USA longbox releases did not all come with an instruction booklet inside, at least I've never seen it. European releases (both jewelcase sizes all had a booklet in some form, either with or without instructions. The USA longbox releases did all have a promotional catalogue inside. CD-i member Blazers adds: "Just to note, some of the instructions sheets in the longbox titles are just double sided printouts, and not full fledged manuals. Other inserts are glorious- the Anne Willan instructions are also a beautiful full color cookbooklet on high quality laminated paper that can be used without the disc."
