More classic rare CD-i scans on the way from CD-i member Seventyy Seven and Blazers, also in 2021! This time we have a XDRA professional CD-i disc about 'getting ahead'; which is a companion with tips and pictures about getting more efficient, in a series of CD-i discs. This one is called 'Making time'. Others in this series are called 'Money at Work', 'Managing your Boss' and 'Presentation Skills'. XDRA Limited was the previous name used by McNo, the first retailer come publisher for CD-i, to my memory they always had a full page spread at the back of CDi Magazine UK. "XDRA first came into being in 1994 when Philips, the International Dutch Electronics Group, set up a company to look after the interests of customers that wished to use 'consumer' products for 'professional' applications. This was especially important in the relatively new field of "multimedia", when unique software had been written and there was a need for continuity and compatibility with new hardware. XDRA has been particularly strong in combining technology and sports."
When you count all compatible CD-i discs, including all video-cd's, CD-i bridge titles and CD-i Rainbow formats, there are thousands of discs to collect. Even today, after 20 years of CD-i researching, there are unknown CD-i titles popping up. As the CD-i community discovers so many titles lately, we are passing by all of them in a new series of chronicles on Interactive Dreams: The Rare CD-i Records.
Much more to come (all preserved in high resolution and without any form of watermarks of course)
[Thanks, Seventyy Seven& Blazers]
