CD-i member Seventyy Seven noticed in the Woodstock '94 CD-i disc (See it, Hear it, Feel it) (which we covered here) that a 'Disc 1' was labeled on the disc, and Arethius RGC kindly showed us a detail we missed before: On the box itself there is a '2CD' sign. Where is the second disc, did it actually exist? Seventyy Seven:"See It Hear It Feel It", a Disc 2 doesn't seem to exist even though 'Kilby Predicts' is labeled Disc 1. Any insight? I would have presumed Disc 2 would be Woodstock 94' footage but maybe they couldn't clear the music rights." - It could be an Audio CD with the Woodstock 1994 music, but we have never seen it in this demo. Who has a copy?
Philips Media was sponsor of the Woodstock 1994 festival and it
organized a Multimedia Village in the "Surreal Field" at Woodstock. They
showed games like Burn:Cycle and Mutant Rampage and some music
experiences of course. They signed Todd Rundgren, who was contracted and
produced TRI No World Order on CD-i. He gave a live performance at the
Multimedia Village in 1994. Philips Media is constructing a 200,000 square foot Multimedia
Village at the site of Woodstock '94 -- to showcase its CD-interactive
(CD-i) technology, and to celebrate th role that music plays in the
multimedia age.
