Japanese CD-i discs are very rare to get hold of, but somehow these Manna Space CD-i discs showed up several times last year. This disc, B to D Business Part 1, was in a bundle as we've seen with the original Manna Space CD-i 450 player, as how it was licensed and officially released in Japan, probably only for the professional market. These discs were shown in detail on youtube by our CD-i member Gluon Van. Interesting for us at Interactive Dreams to see what CD-i did in Japan, but to be honest, these videos are not anything valuable to collect or hunt after. CD-i member Porkandbeans95:"I have recently found two sealed copies of a CD-i software called "B To D Business Part 1" at a recycle shop near my town. I was curious about their value and history and have been looking all over the internet for information with no luck. It appeared on the Japanese Wiki page about CD-i listed as "Not For Sale", with no further details. Is anybody familiar with this software? Any insight would be appreciated. It says part 1 on the discs, but knowing how things went with the CD-i, there may have never been a part 2"
We've indeed never found a part 2, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, as Japanese CD-i software was kept in the vault for a long time for us. Only recently some of them popped up. As these were professional CD-i titles, these discs are probably very rare.
CD-i member Omegalfa adds: "We are talking about Manna Space CD-i discs, released by the Japanese company. Created in 1995, the player is a licensed 450 model and the discs were included in the package for learning purposes. The value of them...? Well there are more Manna Space CD-i discs, I really can't tell you a price. It is sealed and not often seen."
