Recently another demo CD-i disc surfaced thanks to our CD-i community. It was a copy of the Fun Tower disc, as you can back in the reference list here. The Fun Tower CD-i disc was made for use in the Fun Tower Kiosk system that Philips made to promote CD-i. But with again a promotional CD-i title, it becomes more and obvious that there was never before a platform with so many exclusive titles just about the platform itself, to promote itself! To name a few: Alles over CD-i, CD-i Clickshow, CD-i Gang 1991, CD-i Product Preview, CD-i World, CD-i I Want One, CD-i titel Neuheiten 1995, CD-i An established format in the market, Everything you've always wanted to ask John Hawkins (=president Philips Interactive Media), ICDIA Awards, General CD-i Presentation 1993/1994, Let the Games Begin, Power Match, Titles Sampler, CD-i a world of opportunities, the list seems endless!
Jorg Kennis: "Those demo discs, super meta as they are, are quite interesting to us fans (and not at all to many other people). They made quite a lot of them. I sometimes joke that there probably never was a platform with this many title releases only about itself. The full list of these demo titles in the museum can be found here: http://www.icdia.co.uk/archive/democdi.html"
