A CD-i about DCC, that's actually combining two worlds. DCC was next to CD-i a high potential of Philips in the Nineties. Philips made a sales promotion disc on CD-i, based on everything DCC had to offer. DCC offered, thanks to the inclusion of Polygram, which was 100% Philips in the Nineties, a wide library of music on a digital compact cassette. The beauty was that the equipment still accepted the classic analog compact cassette. As how it went with CD-i, the story of DCC is a tragic one as well: DCC never really took off and when Philips president Boonstra killed the Media activities, it meant also DCC was coming to an end. CD-i member Jorg Kennis sent this sales promo CD-i to the DCC Museum in the USA, which we shared on the community here. Now you can see some screenshots of what the disc had to offer.
