Philips made official CD-i shirts to promote various CD-i highlights. CD-i member Jak Boumans shared a couple of these T-shirts with us. The Litil Divil shirt celebrates the release of Litil Divil on CD-i as well as the rebranding of Philips Interactive Media into 'Philips Media Games', an important step to put Philips CD-i in the picture again, relaunching the console more towards the gaming public. The one above is a remarkable picture, it either celebrates the launch of Digital Video which happened in 1993, but as it specifically sais Philips Interactive Media Europe, perhaps the European office was launched? These T-shirts are pretty rare CD-i items! We've had some CD-i shirts here before but these are more unique as they actually hold the CD-i logo's! If you also have a CD-i T-shirt or other CD-i merchandising item we are of course interested to see some pictures, it is, just like this gift, a perfect way to dress up the CD-i exhibition we have in the Home Computer Museum in Helmond, The Netherlands!
[Thanks, Jak Boumans]
