With publishers like 'Double Diamond', 'RCV' and 'RMB' there are hundreds of Video-CD's to collect.

The regular Philips CD-i catalogues always offered a Video CD section with all the VCD's that Philips had to offer. And while in other sections of the CD-i catalogue only titles published by Philips Media were shown, the Movie section offered video-cd's of other publishers as well. At least Polygram Video was present, because Polygram was 100% owned by Philips. But also RCV was always in the catalogue. We don't know a lot about RCV and if it was connected to Philips, but why was RCV included in the catlogue and other publishers like Double Diamond and RMB were not? Only after the official CD-i catalogues stopped and the Multi Media Club started, I got to know about other publishers as well. Video CD's of RMB and Double Diamond were not as present in shops as Philips CD-i discs. I also wonder if there were more publishers like this?

With the new Video CD website by CD-i member 'Nevs', we found out many other small Video CD publishers that you can explore here:
