In our CD-i Community we see that quite some members are looking for a CD-i controller. The original CD-i controllers like the Gamepad are pretty expensive and often exceeding the 70$ price mark. On top of that, the original controllers are not responsive the way we expect from them these days. Especially when we discovered the possibility of the SNES2CD-i adapter, we highly recommend to try playing CD-i games with a SNES controller. The SNES2CD-i adapter is technically an Arduino in a box that converts an original SNES gamepad to the signal that a CD-i player expects. We've experienced that the demand is a lot higher than the supply: We have tutorials online for making them yourself and some of us actually sold a few through eBay.
