The Teletransportsmurf has an obscure link with Philips and CD-i. It was translated into Italian and there's an unused logo of Philips Media on the disc

The Teletransportsmurf is a 1996 Infogrames game full of minigames starring The Smurfs. It also has some platforming elements. The game was released on the DOS platform and we thought that was about it. Later on it appeared the original French game (as it was produced by Infogrames, a French company) also made it on CD-i in 1998, while there was still 1996 on the covers. Also interesting were the prototypes of this game in local languages: The Teletransportsmurf was translated into dutch (De Telemurf) and english (The Teletransportsmurf) and the original French version (Le Téléportaschtroumpf) and we have CD-i prototypes of these versions as well. Now it appears this title was also translated into Italian: "i Puffi: Teletraspuffo". Even more interesting is, while this is the PC version and published by Infogrames, there is a folder on this disc named "Philips Interactive Media" and there is an unused picture with the Philips Media on it, like you see below:

Details like this might be a clue that the italian version also exists in a CD-i prototype form, although we have yet to discover it.
