If you build a SNES-2-CD-i Adapter, you can also integrate the whole SNES-2-CD-i Adapter inside the CD-i player case

One of our CD-i members, Alex Clark, has built a SNES2CDi Adapter but this time with a twist. Alex: "Here is my 210/40 complete with a front SNES controller port. I opted for an internal install for quick plug and play action. I've also taken the opportunity to fit a socket on the timekeeper as well as replacing it for a new one, as the old timekeeper was no longer holding saved data. I'm also debating on doing a 60hz mod for full screen gameplay." It seems like a perfect fit and a one-time job to connect your SNES gamepad directly to your CD-i player. It made me think that in this way you can also integrate a wireless 8bitdo SNES gamepad receiver to it, wholly inside the CD-i player so you don't even have to dig a hole in the CD-i case, and you can play with a wireless 8bitdo SNES gamepad without seeing the receiver (classy, I'd say!)

[Thanks, Alex Clark]
