1996 was one of the final active years for CD-i and it was also the year of Euro 1996 in England, the EK soccer matches. Together with the release of CD-Online and the internet functionality of CD-i this was combined in a few online CD-i titles: This title, the dutch "Nederlands Elftal Compleet" was the first commercial one with internet connection. I can only think of a handful of titles that made use of this, but there was a CD-Online logo on the front cover of each title that included online functionality. In the case of "Nederlands Elftal Compleet", while the EK soccer matches were ongoing, the scores of all matches were uploaded on the CD-Online server and this title filled in the scores in its own tables.
