Game Facts:
Alfapet is an early regional CD-i release to Sweden with what looks to be a conversion of the popular board game scrabble. It was not published by Philips Media, which is remarkable, especially for an early release in 1993. The translation of the game in english is “Alfapet: The classic crossword game“.
Review
A simple boardgame conversion of Scrabble, executed better than what we have with Text Tiles on CD-i. The resolution and details are of a higher grade, but the overall game is simple in design. You can play against the computer of play with two players (on the same controller). You have to know the swedish language, this is not translated in english. Moreover, it is a very rare title, especially because it was not released by Philips, plus it was released in Sweden only.
