Following the news by our CD-i member Arethius RGC about two demo-CD-i's of Chaos Control and Burn:Cycle, which were actually video-cd-i's (following the Digital Video on CD-i standard, not Video-CD) promoting the game with gameplay footage, CD-i member Walter Zeick brought us another one: TF1: "Le Journal Interactif 94 et Le Jeu des Stars de L'Info. A duo-disc in that sense, as two CD-i titles by TF1 Games were actually promoted on this disc. These promotional disc were probably used in kiosk systems in stores to loop gameplay videos of these titles. If now already three of these discs popped up, I wouldn't be surprised this format was used for more demo-cdi's. These discs are pretty rare as they went never up for sale. I have never seen demo cd-i's of other Philips Media businesses either. The Philips Media Encyclopedia "Demonstratie Exemplaar" comes closest, published in 1995 by Philips Media Benelux.
