Philips Media published heavily in printed media to advertise CD-i. The CD-i hardware and software was promoted in CD-i catalogues, CD-i magazines around the world but also in local videogames magazines. This time: Frog Feast by Rastersoft, published in 2007 as an aftermarket release. Of course, as this was about a homebrew title in 2007, it was never used as printed advertisement. It might be the only advertisement about CD-i in online media :)
Still, it is remarkable how much attention went to this release. Frog Feast was published by Oldergames on various retro formats, including Neo Geo CD, Jagugar CD, SNES and others. Today, Frog Feast is still a rare game to find, even harder as a physical copy. But they did it in 2007: Frog Feast received a physical copy in a DVD case. That's actually a shame, as most other CD-i releases came in a standard jewelcase format. The cover above is of course photo-shopped as Philips was not involved anymore in this aftermarket release.
