Mah-Jong is another exclusive CD-i title that was published by Japan Interactive Media in 1994 in Japan. The title is fully Japanese. Mah-Jong is a very popular game in Japan. Please note it is a different type of Mah-Jong than we see in games more often, with a pyramid like memory game of the original Mah-Jong tiles. Mah-Jong on CD-i features the original Mah-Jong game. It is the basic game of Mahjong which is extremely popular in the Far East. It will only play on NTSC cd-i players. It is entirely in Japanese.
Unlike other Japanese CD-i exclusives like Golgo 13 and Cyber Soldier Sharaku, this CD-i game has not been spotted in the wild yet. We wonder who can show more of this CD-i title by Japan Interactive Media? After these years, we've see Cyber Soldier Sharaku the most and even Golgo 13 appeared to be very rare. Golgo 13 was discovered first by our Black Moon Project mother, which archive you can now find on our continuing and ever growing Interactive Dreams database.
