The longer I look at this picture the more nostalgic I feel about the CD-i. This picture is made by CD-i member VGCollectaholic. It captures the ninetees feeling with CD-i, the first possibilities to watch movies digitally on Video-CD, high quality, no need to rewind any tape anymore. The fact I had a machine that could both replace my V2000 (yes, Philips of course) and my console was pretty amazing. Especially when it was almost 1993 and The 7th Guest was around the corner. But we also had movie nights at home, I have great memories of The Mask and Dumb & Dumber, but also the classic James Bond movies and Star Trek, all available on Philips Video-CD's. I also bought Ghost in the Shell, Akira, those were good times. Will all our current streaming possibilities at home and the huge movie library online, times like these will never come back. But CD-i members like VGCollectaholic bring back memories sometimes :)
