CD-i titles were generally released in three area's (as far as we know: Europe, USA and Japan). In USA, Philips Media had its own business set up with the name Philips Interactive Media of America (PIMA). You can distinguish USA CD-i releases by their catalogue numbers (starting with 8xx in Europe and with 3xxx in USA) but the USA CD-i titles were originally all delivered with an extra carton slip cover. They also had a seperate CD-i theme label on the top left. In the case of games, there was a label with CD-i GAMES on it.
While the final CD-i titles were released around 1997 (and one game in 1998 and another one in 1999) in Europe, PIMA stopped pressing USA copies in 1995. The final titles that got the USA treatment (including slipcase and logo label on the top left corner) were Chaos Control and Flashback. CD-i games that were released right after this date (around july 1995) were Micro Machines and Zelda's Adventure. Although testing discs of these games are known in USA (including USA catalogue numbers), they were never released by PIMA in the USA.
