If you are interested in CD-i developing and you are eager to learn more about CD-i authoring, you might be interested in these floppy disks which were used to access specific tools of the OS-9 system, originally preserved at ICDIA. For example, the disc meant to use with the CD-i 605 system contains the OS-9 system files needed to use essential utilities in the Philips CD-i OS-9 shell. It is used by going into the settings menu of the CD-i 60x and selecting 'load'. The diskette was made by manually formatting it, and copying over the OS-9 system files from the Media Mogul 2.2.1 CD.

Another example: With the disk meant for the CD-i 180 system you can obtain an OS-9 command prompt on a serial terminal connected to the 182 unit of a CD-i 18x player by selecting CD-RTOS in the SYSTEM screen. The disk was adapted for use on the CD-i 18x by changing the startup script.
Jorne: "I made flux dumps of several OS-9 system disks. Should be useful for anyone with a greasweazle/kryoflux/supercard pro to write these disks for use on CD-i authoring players." The professional players with a floppy drive should also be able to use these disks (Philips CDI 602, 604, 615), CD-i fan adds. You can find them here:
