We all get older and have a lot of other interests in our lives. We have families and jobs. Changing hobbies. Together with Mathias from the website Philipscdi.com we had a lot of fun talking, investing, sharing knowledge about CD-i and making plans to create a co-operative website togeter with Interactive Dreams. Last year I was offered to buy and host Philipscdi.com myself, but I didn't want to as I just don't have the time (and really, interest). Now Mathias sold his hobby by selling his CD-i hardware equipment to CD-i member Jorne, thankfully he is still dedicated to the platform (and of course younger :) ) - I would like to thank Mathias for his contributions in the past years and I will look back at a lot of fun about CD-i with him. The old gang is slowly disappearing but thanks to the new preservation efforts CD-i is getting its attention to a whole other level, so it's not bad news per se! Who knows what the future will bring.
The website Philipscdi.com (and our initial successor demo that never happened, if you can find it) will remain active for the time being, although several links are broken (and won't be repaired)
