CD-i member Ekim Skirdneh and Retrostuff posted some pics of this director's chair with the CD-i logo on it, a nice collectable! This director chair was probably used in certain FMV heavy focused CD-i games, where movies were needed for CD-i games and a full movie-setup was built, specifically for CD-i games like Thunder in Paradise, Voyeur or The Dame was Loaded. CD-i member Adrian Zanoli found a picture of Thunder in Paradise CD-i where you can see a similar chair in the back. I can imagine Philips used these chairs on the set for filming the interactive television show of Thunder in Paradise, exclusively for Philips Media.
