In Spain perhaps one of the most productive CD-i companies was LAB CD-i, a Philips internal division, who translated several spanish versions of games like Burn:Cycle and Asterix. In Spain they received a Silver Award for "Alarma en el distrito salud" (CDi) (A medical title to help to prevent aids).
CD-i member Xenon (Salva) discovered some
unique Video CD's (he just received another 16 to add to his
collection!) which were released by LAB CD-i. You might remember this
name as Xenon shared quite some more LAB CD-i's with us in the past,
including the Movie CD-i encyclopedia and the Spanish History CD-i collection.
Xenon: "Included in this lot are three additions to the "Más Que Cine" collection: 'Fresa y Chocolate', 'Los Viajes de Gulliver' and 'Roma Ciudad Abierta'.
Three children's chapters of the Sony Wonder series "Cuentos Encantados" (Enchanted Tales): 'Cuento de Navidad', 'Los Duendes de Navidad' and 'El Jorobado de Norte Dame'.
The collection of 6 discs "Wild Sanctuaries of the World" (Santuarios Salvajes del Mundo)
The disc "The Flight of the Rhinoceros" by National Geographic. (
El Vuelo del Rinoceronte)"
