They are a buggy attempt at indicating:
- The actual rendered frames out of the last 50 or 60 (if the emulation lags behind, cdiemu will skip frames for rendering, it will still emulate the correct signal and cycle stealing timing.
- The speed percentage of the emulated code relative to "real-time" (i.e. is the cd-i player running faster then "real-time" or not)
If everything works correctly, on a fast PC, you would consistently get 50/50 and 100%. Version 0.5 has issues with the frame calculations which will cause it to jitter (this is mostly fixed in 0.6) and also does not limit emulation speed to 100% (when it was released almost no PC was fast enough, this is also fixed in 0.6). The latter issue is the cause of the audio "lagging" behind the screen play. So for 0.5 I would not have too much faith in these numbers.
