Reader Question: "How are things going with Nobelia (Homebrew game on CD-i)? Any plans for a physical release once the game is completed?"

CD-i member TwBurn (Jeffrey Janssen) is developing Nobelia on CD-i, the first homebrew CD-i game since Super Quartet in 2018. In May 2021, he released the first version to the public and it feels great to see this kind of game is possible on CD-i. Since the initial release, there has not been any update while developer Jeffrey promised he would continue working on it. Sixersfan105 asks: 'how are things going with Nobelia? Any plans for a physical release once the game is completed to your satisfaction?'. It looks like a physical version is still in the pipeline and the game is even having a graphical update. Jeffrey: 'I haven't really worked on it over the summer, due to other stuff going on. I recently restarted work on it, I'm currently redoing the graphics, going to a fixed/predetermined palette, not the mess I had so far. When it's done I'm still planning to do a physical release of it. I'm also working on some tools to convert the assets, when those are done (enough) I'll go back to coding.'
