These crayons were supplied with the big box version of The Crayon Factory on CD-i, including Colouring Book

 If there is one thing that Interactive Dreams serves to our readers it is bringing back memories. These crayons are no different, I found it fascinating that Philips put these crayons together with an official Colouring Book together in one bundle with the CD-i title 'The Crayon Factory', created by Philips Sidewalk Studio in USA. Many thanks to CD-i member KailoKyra who offered the scans! We had a close look at the Italian version of the Colouring Book which was shared with us by CD-i member Marco Parisio Java.

Philips Sidewalk Studio produced The Crayon Factory in 1995, one of their final CD-i titles. It was translated in various languages as it was focused towards children. In France it was called L’Usine aux Crayons, then we have the german version 8130130 (Germany) Die Malstift Fabrik (1995), the dutch version 8140142 (The Netherlands) De Krijtjes Fabriek (1995), the italian version 8150103 (Italy) La Fabbrica dei Pastelli and The Crayon Factory in USA 310690253-2 (USA).

The voices of the narrators are from: Shari Lewis (english version), Marie Vincent (french version), Monika Peitsch (german version and Cristina D’Avena (italian version). 

 

 

The Crayon Factory was released in a standard jewelcase, but there was also a big box version which included 8 original crayons by Crayola and a colouring book based on the characters from the game.
